In this week, I receive the knowledge about the sentences and minimal pair (ประโยคเทียบเคียง) from studying translation 2.
For example the sentences.
1. He can run very fast.
(เขาวิ่งได้เร็วมาก)
2. When he was young, he could run very fast.
(ตอนเขาเป็นเด็ก เขาวิ่งได้เร็วมาก)
3. Can you turn on a light?
(คุณช่วยเปิดไฟให้หน่อยได้ไหมคะ)
4. Could you turn on a light?
(กรุณาเปิดไฟให้หน่อยได้ไหมคะ)
5. I can’t to see you today but I could see you.
(วันนี้ฉันเจอเธอไม่ได้ แต่พรุ่งนี้อาจได้)
Minimal pair (ประโยคเทียบเคียง)
1.เวลาตัดสินอะไร คนเราอาจจะผิดหรือถูกก็ได้
When judge something, ones may true or wrong.
2. เขาใช้ตะเกียบไม่เป็น
He can not use chopsticks.
3.คุณอยู่ที่นี่นานแค่ไหนก็ได้ เท่าที่คุณอยากอยู่
You are here as long as you want to be.
